Mission Statement

Naji Foundation Inc. is committed to promoting nutritional values and education for the youth of the community at-large throughout the Greater Atlanta area, Georgia and nationally, and to carry on there relatable charitable and educational activities. Naji Foundation Inc. is also committed to formulating facilities to serve housing and vocational needs of homeless female veterans; and family and youth counseling services. They will provide professional counseling, training, educational, and nutritional services that exceed expectations. Naji Foundation Inc. are devoted to providing quality client care that supports self-discovery and change. It is also our goal to support those served in obtaining resources to meet their needs. Our primary goal is to provide superior services in an efficient, effective, and satisfactory manner, in a way that supports healthy families and healthy lifestyles.

The Naji Foundation Inc. Scholarship provides support for the educational advancement of clients.

In-Kind Gifts

Many clients need help with basics for independent living including:

• Basic items like towels, sheets, and cookware

• Emergency food and shelter

• Basic dental and medical care

In-kind gifts are always needed for the Basic Needs Pantry for our clients.

NFI Basic Needs Pantry Wish List:

• Non-perishable food

• Clean gently-used or new clothing for adults and children of all ages

• New socks and underwear (all sizes)

• Self-care items including:

  •  Toothpaste
  •  Toothbrushes
  •  Deodorant
  •  Feminine hygiene items

Dr. Vivienne Mitchell, Founder and CEO of Naji Foundation Inc

Dr. Vivienne Mitchell graduated with a Master of Social Work with a focus on Health/Mental Health from Clark Atlanta University.

Vivienne also has a Bachelor of Social Work from Georgia State University. She recently completed her PhD (ABD) in General Psychology specializing in Educational Psychology.

Dr. Mitchell has experience working with families, adults, children, and education with a wide range of needs. Specializations- Research, Child Protection Services, Communication, Budgeting, Truancy, Children, Families, Structure, Education, and Nutrition.

She is an Active Member of American Psychological Association (APA), Active Member of Psi Chi: The International Honor Society in Psychology, Active Member of NAACP GA Chapter.

Dr. Mitchell is currently the Program Manager of the Title III Research Grant and an Adjunct Professor at Clark Atlanta University.  She also proudly served in the U.S. ARMY and is a disabled veteran.
